Headmaster's update
As I approach the end of my first term as Headmaster of Queen Elizabeth's School, I am acutely aware that I have inherited the mantle of an outstanding predecessor whose great leadership and energy have hugely enhanced and enriched the School, and who has thereby ensured that our mission to produce young men who are "confident, able and responsible" continues to be fulfilled.

QE: the top state boys' School in 2011
Queen Elizabeth's School has received another national accolade, with the Sunday Times' 21st annual Parent Power guide naming it as the country's top boys' state school. QE this year maintained its position in the maintained schools league table, again taking second place overall behind The Henrietta Barnett School, a girls' school in Hampstead.

Former pupils retain links with school in India
A growing number of QE alumni are staying in touch with the Sri Sathya Sai English Medium School in Vallanad, Kerala – a village in South West India.
In 2011 several old boys took the time to pay a visit, each spending time at the school which QE has supported since 2002.
