The Association is sad to announce the passing of Anton Obrist on September 15th last year, which we have only just learnt. Anton attended Queen Elizabeth’s from 1938 to 1944.
The Association is sad to announce the passing, on March 16th of Mrs Frances Fuller, wife of John Fuller OE (deceased) and mother of David Fuller OE (1966-1973) at the age of 102. So highly admired was she for her unstinting support of the Association, especially at the Memorial Playing Fields at Gypsy Corner from its opening in 1947 onwards , Frances received the unique distinction of being awarded Honorary Life Membership in recognition of her considerable contributions to the life of the Association.
The Association is very sad to announce the passing, on March 4th, of Sir Leslie Fielding KCMG OE at the age of 88. A Life Member of the Association and prolific contributor to the ‘Elizabethan’, Sir Leslie attended the school from 1943 to 1951.
